CustomWhat is custom furniture?Custom furniture is tailored to customer specifications—size, wood type, finish, construction, design and style.We’ve never ordered anything custom before. How do we get started? Tarik Yousef Fine Furniture needs to know:•the type of furniture you’d like•what style you’re looking at •estimated dimensions or major size constraints of the space This sounds so complicated; will this take a lot of time? The process is what you make of it. Typically, we ask you to review and approve the initial drawings we provide. We encourage you to take time to arrive at your final revisions. Other than this review, the process is short and sweet. Many customers are eager for us to take full artistic freedom with their design specifications. If this process seems difficult, we suggest looking at our furniture collections, high-quality items that have been refined over the years with lifetime guarantees. Can I customize a furniture collection item? Yes! All our designs are customizable. For example, we can take a side table design and style it into a kitchen table, home office desk, coffee table, or TV stand. Please call for more details. ShippingI do not live nearby, what are shipping options? We ship a variety of ways—always with reputable shippers and at reasonable rates. We ship globally, too. How will items arrive? Many ways. We can crate furniture to arrive safely and quickly. Our “white glove” shipping service not only delivers anywhere in the continental US, but also assembles the item on premises—no fussing with unloading, moving or disposing of waste packaging. Custom furniture typically costs more than a collection piece because of extra design time and labor. Therefore, there may be an added charge for customization. However, it’s still less for a customized collection piece than for customized furniture that’s specifically tailored to your needs.
